Get to know Emily

Emily has a deep passion for creativity and is often juggling twenty things at once. When she’s not working on a creative project, you can find Emily blasting musical theatre tunes, drinking mocha lattes, bothering her dog, and playing board games with her family and friends.

Born and raised on Long Island, Emily has always been a storyteller. Her earliest memories involve a pencil, some paper, and a wild imagination. She is a creative writer, with interests in poetry and creative nonfiction. Her longtime dream is to become a published author, likely in the creative nonfiction space.

She is a huge pop culture fan and loves to discuss her latest fixation with anyone who will listen. She grew up watching reality TV shows like 19 Kids and Counting, Food Network Star, and Dance Moms and has become extremely intrigued by the way humans communicate, find entertainment, and engage with pop culture.

Emily also adores film and television of all kinds, her dream day includes an AMC theatre, a movie-musical, and a large Diet Coke straight from a Coke freestyle machine.

Emily is a Swiftie, a Letterboxd loyalist, a Playbill collector, and an intersectional feminist. Above all, she is a storyteller, an empathetic writer, and a fan of jumping at whatever opportunities come her way.
